One scoop at Purple Door Ice Cream and they might have jumped to one of my favorite ice cream brands ever. Their choices in flavors was mind boggling. There was one called “Campfire”. Crazy unique and creative stuff going on there. I told the woman behind the counter what I had managed to narrow my options down to, (about 5, lol), and she assured me I could not go wrong with their strawberry. She proclaimed it was far beyond the basic taste we are all familiar with. Let. Me. Tell. You. It was the best strawberry ice cream ever. Seriously, go there, get the Strawberry Balsamic, it is delectable. The balsamic complimented the taste of perfectly ripe strawberries in the summer. (I cannot stress how much they have nailed the flavors. You can taste them each separately! It’s some Willy Wonka magic). The Purple Door employee had warned me before I received my cone that it would ruin all other strawberry ice cream for me in the future. Sadly,..I’m fairly certain she’s right.
